I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor with additional training in bereavement.  I provide counselling to adults.  I am a calm, friendly and thoughtful person who will put you at ease and gently help you take the next step.

I trained at Northern Guild Psychotherapy and Counselling, a BACP Accredited training provider, gaining a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Adult). I have also completed training with Cruse Bereavement Care and completed their Foundation Course and Adult Elective last year.  I volunteer a few hours a week to support bereaved clients at Cruse.

I have experience working in a GP surgery providing counselling to patients from age 18 years and presenting with a range of issues, including anxiety and depression, low mood, bereavement and loss, unresolved grief, redundancy and job loss, work related stress, post-traumatic stress, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, health issues and coping with pain. 

I hold a current Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate.
